I love Anne. I also love Jack's daughter Kate.

Jack-"Would it be okay if I invited a friend to dinner with us tonight?"
Kate(excited)-"Can it be Danny?"

Aww Jack's daughter has a little crush on Danny. That's so cute!

Kate(to Anne)-"Hi, I'm sorry you're husband got shot."
Jack-"Oy."

The Many Faces of Enrique )
From the episode "Suspect":

Jack-"I meant what I said before, Graham. You care about these kids. That's why you took Andy under your wing. He was confused, vulnerable. You were the only one who understood him."

Graham Spaulding-"Is that right?"

Jack-"I think so. But then he turned on you, didn't he? I know how that feels. Know how painful that can be. You pour yourself into someone -- your time, energy, and devotion. You give them everything they need to grow and then they just abandon you."

Graham Spaulding-"Are you speaking from experience?"

Jack-"Sure. You love someone ... you make love to someone ... you give your life to them and then they don't even look at you."
===================================================

Jack-"The power that you have with those boys -- what that must feel like."

Graham Spaulding-"What boys?"

Jack-"Andy, Eric Lipinski, Robert Griffith. I know there have been others."

Graham Spaulding-"There have been many."

Jack-"Do me a favor, Graham. Tell me what it's like ... the moment that youtake them out. Tell me. You can see the terror in their eyes, right? You can feel their hearts racing. You can feel the cold sweat under your hands just before you stick the needle in. It must be such a rush."
============================

Jack-"You never got a chance to go back to him because he's still out there. He's waiting ... It must be hard. It must be hard knowing that he's out there ... waiting. The touch of his skin ... the feel of him under you. I understand you, Graham, I do. I've been to that school. I've seen those beautiful boys. Their beautiful bodies ... to hold all that innocence in your arms ... to take ... the power. It must be really frustrating knowing that Andy is out there waiting for you ... waiting ... waiting ... waiting and you can't get back to him. You can't be with him one last time. But I tell you what I'm going to do. I'm going to give you fifteen minutes with him, if you tell me where he is."

Graham Spaulding-"You'd do that?"

Jack-"I'll give you fifteen minutes with him ... alone. You can do whatever you want.

Graham Spaulding-"Fifteen minutes."

Jack-"Whatever you want."

That episode is sooooo good! The whole interrogation Jack does with Spaulding gives me chills everytime. I also watched "Silent Partner". My favorite quote from that episode is where Vivian and Jack are talking about Martin going to San Diego to work with Danny on the case:

Vivian-"Should we send a referee?"

Jack-"Nah, let 'em duke it out."

Hee. Also I think this is the first time Danny calls Martin "Fitzy".

P.S. I need to find out the name of the song they play during the episode "Suspect. It is so good and so haunting: "One of these mornings, one of these mornings / won't be very long, won't be very long / you will look for me, you will look for me / I'll be gone, I'll be gone..."

I feel like I need to add more people to my friends list. Anybody know anyone they think I should friend?

I have been watching more "Without a Trace" and it occurs to me that I really don't like Samantha. I don't hate her but I don't like her either and I don't know why exactly. Maybe because I feel she's defined by her relationships with men: she seems to have a deep distrust and disike of men, she's dated both Jack and Martin. Beyond that we don't know much about her personally. Also Sam looks like "F.B.I Barbie" to me. (Her and Martin together was like "F.B.I Barbie and Ken"; just as stiff and plastic.)

Officer Murphy is on Law & Order playing a dad on trial for buying his son weapons he used to kill a kid! Now I've seen him on every L&O series except for Trial by Jury (which wasn't on long enough for him to guest star in I guess).

I have to buy season 1 of Without a Trace if only so I can see the episode "Clare de Lune" again:

Danny-"I can understand why you want to be alone. It's nice here. Clare, I understand why you feel the way you do. I lost both my parents when I was eleven. We were driving somewhere and they were fighting.
My dad was yelling at my mom. He used to like to yell at my mom. I wanted him to stop, so I said something. Then he turned around, and he yelled at me. That's when the car started to swerve. I never told anybody that. Ever. And I know what it's like to keep a secret. I didn't mean to do anything wrong that day. I was just a kid..."

Oh the Danny angst is so good in that one! Danny has a lot of angst: he accidentally caused the death of his parents, his father used to beat him and his brother, his brother is a screw up and a criminal, he even had to arrest his brother and send him back to prison after speaking at his parole hearing to get him out. Poor Danny, no wonder he became an alcoholic.

Danny-"Where was that "family man" when I was fourteen and Mami and Papi were dead? In the next room sticking needles up his arm."
Rafe-"Papi was drunk. He was a bastard. I spent ten years between his fist and your pretty face!"
*Normally I would cut for spoilers but I don't think anyone on my flist watches Without a Trace*

I am officially declaring tonight's Without a Trace Best. Episode. Ever. It's was funny and it had lesbians in love. Sure it was kinda goofy and far-fetched but it was fun to watch, had lesbians, and ended with Jack and Danny acting totally gay singing "That's Amore". Wish I had taped it. :)

Jack-"You're only hiding in here because you're afraid to tell your girlfriend you like her."
Formally missing lady-"I've never been a lesbian before, I don't know what to do."
Jack-"Well I've never been a lesbian either, unless you count that dream..."

P.S. Actually watched CSI tonight. What is up with Nick's hair? Is he stuck in the 70's? First the pornstache and now this?!
I really feel like going out tonight. I feel all restless and bored. I hate the idea of spending the night at home bored out of my mind. *sigh*

P.S. How come season 1 is the only season of Without a Trace on DVD? They're in season 4 now, what's the hold up?

P.P.S. Just saw this story at IMDB.com

'Brokeback' Star Slammed by Former School
Brokeback Mountain actress Michelle Williams has been disowned by her former school because of her role in the controversial gay cowboy romance. Williams, who attended exclusive Santa Fe Christian School in San Diego, California, has been blasted by the school's headmaster as "offensive" for acting the long-suffering wife of a homosexual ranch hand, played by Heath Ledger. Jim Hopson has branded the Oscar nominee a poor role model, and hopes his education establishment won't be linked to the film's themes. He tells the San Diego Union Tribune, "We don't want to have anything to do with her in relation to that movie. Michelle doesn't represent the values of this institution. Brokeback Mountain basically promotes a lifestyle we don't promote."

Interesting they didn't "disown" her already for having starred in "If These Walls Could Talk 2" and "But I'm a Cheerleader". But maybe they're okay with lesbians cause two chicks is like totally hot. *eyeroll*
