Apparently what is supposed to happen is T-Bag cuffs himself to Michael and Abruzzi chops his hand off to get him un-handcuffed to Michael. If that is true that means T-Bag only loses one hand. They are also talking like T-Bag will survive this. In fact somebody on the Television Without Pity forum said that Robert Knepper said this:

"I am on hiatus and totally enjoying it after spending almost a year away of super intense work. ... I am relaxing and then I go back to work playing T-Bag."

So I'm still not happy but if he just loses the one hand and lives I guess I will be okay with that. Although the having one hand thing would be hard to film me thinks.

Anyway here's some speculation from people that gives me some hope:

I would like to comment on T-Bag's hand though, the pics show that he's handcuffed to Michael by the left hand and its also the left hand in the bloody handprint, so it means his hand was not really lopped off only injured. Of course the reason it would be written in is to give the guards something to track.

So maybe that solves the question of how they deal with a hand-less character - maybe he's just severly injured. He'd still need medical attention eventually, but maybe not immediately (with a tourniquet)

Fuck, when is Monday gonna get here?!
