[livejournal.com profile] anteka is posting Dean Winchester picspams. You know you wanna go look!

Anyone like Aerosmith? I do. Well I mostly like later Aerosmith because I'm not cool. *L* I got into Aerosmith when I was in junior high and they released their "Get a Grip" album. I had such a huge crush on Steven Tyler, who my mom liked to say was ugly every chance she got, but he was my one and only rock star crush. Anyway I just loaded songs from the "Big Ones" C.D to iTunes. (I've had that C.D for forever but I just now got around to putting on there.) I'm posting a few of my faves here.

"Cryin"-Classic, classic song! Who doesn't remember that video with Alicia Silverstone? This the one that first made me fall in love with Aerosmith.

"I was cryin' when I met you/Now I'm tryin to forget you/Your love is sweet misery/I was cryin' just to get you/Now I'm dyin' 'cause I let you/Do what you do-down on me, yeah/Now there's not even breathin' room/Between pleasure and pain/Yeah you cry when we're makin' love/Must be one and the same"

"Janie's Got a Gun"-This song is so good, everybody in the world should listen to it. It gives me chills everytime I hear it.

"What did her daddy do?/It's Janie's last I-O-U/She had to take him down easy/And put a bullet in his brain/She said 'cause nobody believes me/The man was such a sleaze/He ain't never gonna be the same"

"Amazing"-Beautiful song. This one helped me during some depressive periods.

"That one last shot's a Permanent Vacation/And how high can you fly with broken wings?/Life's a journey not a destination/And I just can't tell just what tomorrow will bring/You have to learn to crawl/Before you learn to walk/But I just couldn't listen to all that righteous talk"

"What It Takes"-Not that well known an Aerosmith song but I've always loved it.

"Tell me that you're happy that you're on your own/Tell me that it's better when you're all alone/Tell me that your body doesn't miss my touch/Tell me that my lovin' didn't mean that much/Tell me you ain't dyin' when you're cryin' for me"

I watched "Justice" tonight, the new show on Fox starring Spydaddy, Kareem Said, and hey is that the gay guy from "Dawson's Creek"? Victor Garber is excellent as always. I really like his character more than the young guy. Why do I always like the cocky jerk more than the earnest nice guy? Anyway I like the show. It's like the other side of "Law & Order" with a little bit of "CSI" style. Plus I like that we get to see what actually happened at the end of the episode. Definetly gonna watch next week. Oh and [livejournal.com profile] visionofblue in the preview they showed that actress you have a thing for, who played the dead friend on "Veronica Mars", in it. She's their client.
Jack-"Have you had dinner? If memory serves you always liked Mitchelli's"
Sydney-"I haven't eaten there since I was eight."
Jack-"I do eat you know."
Sydney-*laughs* "I'd like that actually."

(And then they walk out with Spydaddy's arm around Sydney.)

I know season 3 is a pretty crappy season but the one thing that I love about it is that by then Sydney and Jack's relationship has reached the point where she actually trusts him. In the first two seasons she was so willing to believe the worst in him but now she realizes he loves her and he would never do anything to hurt her. She can finally take comfort and strength from him. Plus he's reaching out to her, trying to give her someone to talk to, to have companionship with now that she's lost her friends and Vaughn. Plus he's more affectionate and warm to her. *smooshes my Spydaddy and daughter oh so tight*
