Author's Notes: I don't know what is up with me writing the angsty gen fics lately but I felt like after I did Dean* I should do the flipside and explore Sam's thoughts. Unbeta'd again, sorry about that.

The Earth is definetely doomed

I finished rewatching Buffy tonight. I love "Chosen" beyond words. There couldn't have been a more fitting ending than the destruction of Sunnydale. But you know, Joss wrote it so that pretty much guarantees awesomeness. You can expect icons from me later but for now I have quotes:

Angel-"That's great. Everyone's got a soul now...
You know, I started it. The whole having a soul. Before it was all the cool new thing."
Buffy-"Oh, my God. Are you 12?"

Buffy-"I hate this. I hate being here. I hate that you have to be here. I hate that there's evil, and that I was chosen to fight it. I wish, a whole lot of the time, that I hadn't been. Tomorrow morning I'm opening the seal. I'm going down into the hellmouth, and I'm finishing this once and for all."

Giles (playing Dungeons and Dragons)-"I used to be a highly respected watcher, and now I'm a wounded dwarf with the mystical strength of a doily."

Andrew-"We will defend it with our very lives."
Anya-"Yes, we will defend it with his very life."

Spike-"Not to be a buzzkill, love, but my fabulous accessory isn't exactly tingling with power."
Buffy-"I'm not worried."
Spike-"I'm getting zero juice here, and I look like Elizabeth Taylor."
