Supernatural will still be on Thursdays at 9 p.m. after Smallville. But apparently Reaper (boo hiss) will be back for 13 episodes mid-season and it was reported earlier it would take the place of Smallville when it's season was up. Are they still gonna do that? They didn't say anything in the official announcement about what night Reaper would air just that it will be back mid-season. I still don't know for sure that Supernatural is getting a full season but I guess the fact that they didn't say otherwise means it is. I hope so. It's official that when Smallville finishes its season, apparently early, Reaper will take it's place on the schedule and Supernatural will follow both shows.
Also Gossip Girl will be back on Mondays at 8 p.m. (I only mention that for my Jennybean who loves it. I would never ever watch it in a million years myself)
ETA: This commentary on the CW at Zap2it made me giggle:
The CW's third year on the air is showing more focus towards young women, so expect the following: soap-y dramas like "Gossip Girl" and the upcoming "90210" series, another fashion-oriented reality show following the ever-present "America's Next Top Model" and of course the continued exploitation of brooding, good-looking guys in mainstays like "One Tree Hill" and "Supernatural".
"Continued exploitation of brooding, good-looking guys" *snerk* I like that they called Supernatural a mainstay. Yay, that means they expect it to stick around for awhile. We are no longer a bubble show! :D
