It's October and I'm already thinking about Christmas

I'm collecting the Hallmark Mischievous Kittens ornaments and they already have their 2008 ornaments out so now I have the ornaments from 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008. I do not have the ornaments from 1999-2004. I would love to have them but can't afford to buy them (and the one from 1999 is insanely expensive at this point so I just have to forget about that one). I also have two other Hallmark cat ornaments. I have a whole theme going on with all my ornaments for my tree being cats. I am worried though about keeping Alec from attacking my tree. I have nowhere to put it that he can't reach except maybe on top of my refrigerator* and I'm sure if he was determined enough he'd get up there. I can't have him destroying my precious ornament collection. *frets*

ETA: I just found out Hallmark had a series called Cat Naps. OMG I wants them!

*My tree is like a foot tall
