I decided to just go ahead and post the fic I wrote even though it is what my BFF Claire would call "drawer fic" (in that it should go in a drawer and not be read by anybody else) but then jackiesjunkie, who is my only fan, said she enjoyed it so I thought what the hell. She also used her mad beta skills to fix it for me (thanks sweetie). It's my first RPS (I have completely gone over to the dark side now. *L) and it has the pairings of Jensen Ackles/Jared Padalecki and Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert (um sort of, there's speculation at least).



Jensen and Jared have a little ritual every night of cuddling on the couch and watching the Daily Show and the Colbert Report. The cuddling is totally Jared's idea; Jensen is just too tired to protest. Jared will tell you Jensen secretly loves it but Jensen will tell you Jared is always high on sugar so you can't believe a word that comes out of his mouth.

One night they were engaging in their little ritual and while watching the toss between shows Jared piped up with, "Those two are fucking."

To which Jensen, who was kind of dozing off at that point, replied with a sleepy, "Huh?"

Jared said, "Jon and Stephen, they are so banging each others brains out."

Jensen just rolled his eyes and said, "Whatever Jared. They're married. To other people," he clarified just in case living up in Canada had made Jared forget that gay marriage wasn't legal everywhere.

Jared's reply was, "So?"

To which Jensen eloquently replied, "So..." right back.

Jared got a little huffy then and said, "So I used to have a fiancé even though I was totally gay for you."

"Ya well you're a freak."

Jared batted his eyelashes and said, "You always say the sweetest things to me."

"Shut up. What makes you think those two are like us?" Jensen asked.

Jared replied, "Because look at the way they look at each other and the way they make each other laugh. You can't fake that kind of affection."

"Says the actor," Jensen snorted.

"Well, it would be different if the moments were scripted but it's the moments when they break character that you can see how much they adore each other."

"Wow, you really are a giant girl aren't you?" Jensen laughed.

"Whatever bitch, I'm just in touch with my feminine side."

"That explains all the pink shirts. And hey, isn't bitch my line?"

"That's when you're Dean, when you're Jensen you're my bitch."

Jensen shook his head, "Jerk," he said with an affectionate smile.

"See, you admit to being my bitch!"

"I'm just humoring you so I can have my way with you later."

Jared face lit up at that and he said, "Maybe we could do a little role playing. I'll be Stephen Colbert and you can be Jon Stewart. You're short, it'll come easy."

"I am not short, you are just freakishly tall. And I wear glasses so that makes me Stephen."

"You don't wear your glasses during sex," Jared scoffed.

"I could," Jensen whispered into Jared's ear.

Jared's eyes got comically wide then and he literally gulped before saying, "Okay, you get to be Stephen."
