In a letter to "Dear Abby" a reader complained that a gay couple was
moving in across the street and wanted to know what he could do to improve the quality of the neighborhood.

Her suggestion - "You could move."

"No government has the right to tell its citizens when or whom to love. The only queer people are those who don't love anybody." - Rita Mae Brown
Got my hair cut today: the new me. The lady kept talking about how she wanted to give me a makeover. She was like "I could make you look completely different." which is kind of insulting cause that implies I wouldn't want to look like this. I mean I don't want to look like this, but I can't be arsed to bother with makeup and styling products either, plus there's my teeth that make me look like a hillbilly meth addict and nothing she can do will help with that. All in all I left feeling vaguely insulted. She gave me her card and I'm thinking sure if I feel like having my already abysmally low self-esteem taken down another notch I'll stop by.

Obama to sign UN gay rights declaration

The Obama administration will endorse a U.N. declaration calling for the worldwide decriminalization of homosexuality that then-President George W. Bush had refused to sign, The Associated Press has learned.

U.S. officials said Tuesday they had notified the declaration's French sponsors that the administration wants to be added as a supporter. The Bush administration was criticized in December when it was the only western government that refused to sign on.

Yay for Barack Obama and fuck you George W. Bush!
