Author's Notes: This is a drabble that takes place after "The Bitch is Back". This was inspired by the scene where Logan beat that guy up and Piz showed up and saw how Veronica was looking at Logan. You could see by the look on his face that he knew it was over at that moment.
Dear Veronica,
I know I'm a jerk for doing this this way but I'm afraid if I tried to say this to your face I'd lose my resolve. It's over. It was pretty much over before it even started and I can see that now. Obviously you are still in love with Logan even though the guy is deranged. I mean seriously, aren't you just a little bit afraid of him? Maybe that's why you like him, maybe you like danger. Come to think of it, you do don't you? That's something I should have seen all along but I was too busy fooling myself into believing you'd ever be happy with a guy like me. I'm not an "exciting dangerous" guy. I doubt I'll ever be. I don't mean to sound bitter. I mean I am bitter but I'm not angry with you. In fact I wanted to tell you that you are an amazing woman Veronica and you deserve so much better than Logan. I hope that one day you can find someone who actually makes you happy. I know now that I'm not that guy. Good luck with the internship. I know you'll blow them away, not literally, although I guess you might get a gun since it's the F.B.I. I just mean I'm sure you'll impress them. Only a fool could see you and not be impressed.
