So I've been working on this Snape/Lily fanfic based on this 50 sentence challenge. You are supposed to write 50 sentences of a pairing based on prompts. I didn't actually sign up for the challenge, I just wanted to see if I could do it. I've finished 20 and I don't know if I'll finish or not. I am posting what I have so far in the hopes that I can get some feedback and possibly be inspired to finish it or be told I suck and shouldn't bother. *L*
#2. Kiss
He had bought her a present once when they were still very young and she had been so pleased she kissed him on his cheek; it was still the happiest moment of his life.
#4. Pain
The pain of cruiciatus is nothing compared to his feelings of guilt over Lily's death.
#6. Rain
She had held his hand as they rain through the rain, later she brought him chicken soup for the cold he caught.
#7. Chocolate
He bought a box of Valentines Day chocolates for her once, the box said "Be Mine"; he never gathered up the courage to give it to her.
#8. Happiness
His happiness at having her in his life was bittersweet as it always is for those whose affections are never returned.
#9. Telephone
Over summer vacations he would sometimes use the muggle device just to hear Lily's voice.
#11. Name
Mudblood, when he called her that name she never forgave him and he lost the only real friend he'd ever had.
#13. Death
It's as if he recieved the dementor's kiss the day she died, all that's left of him is a shell.
#22. Jealousy
He has never despised anyone as much as he does James Potter, that arrogant bastard who stole the only thing that made Severus' life worth living.
#25. Devotion
At first Albus seemed suprised at his devotion to Lily, as if he had never imagined Severus capable of such feelings.
#26. Forever
There would be no reward for the work he was doing; Lily was gone forever and nothing he did would ever change that.
#28. Sickness
"I don't care what my housemates say, I know you are a good person Severus." -It made him sick with himself knowing he had proven her so wrong.
#34. Lightning/Thunder
Just as lightning never strikes the same place twice, he knew he would never meet anyone like her again.
#39. Smile
She was so excited when she got a camera (she couldn't wait to have her own moving photos) that she insisted on taking a picture of him and she made funny faces behind the camera until he smiled.
#40. Innocence
She was an innocent victim of his stupidity, his desperate desire to be accepted somewhere.
#42. Clouds
They used to lie on the ground and Lily would look up at the clouds and marvel at their beauty; he would look at her and do the same.
#44. Heaven
For Severus being in Lily's presence was heaven.
#45. Hell
Knowing she would never love him back was hell.
#46. Sun
Harry bloody Potter, the wizarding world seemed to think the sun revolved around that brat; no one seemed to care that the only reason their beloved saviour was alive was because of Lily Evan's sacrifice - where was her fame, her recognition?

His hair had always been greasy and dark, hiding his face from the world; her hair was shiny and bright, framing her beautiful face.
