So not suprisingly the earthquake this morning is all anybody can talk about. We hardly ever get earthquakes here. I read the last major earthquake in this area was back in 1968 and it was a 5.3. Like I said earlier the one we had here this morning was a 5.2. Vincennes is apparently 26 miles from the epicenter of the earthquake. According to my mom they didnt feel the earthquake quite as much as I did. They had windows rattling and some stuff fell but they didnt quite feel the shaking as much as me. My mom lives in a one story house. I live on the 3rd floor of a 6 story apartment building and I felt the whole place shaking. I was in bed and the bed started shaking and I could hear rumbling. I had no idea what it was at first cause I've never experienced an earthquake before. Suprisingly I didn't freak out or anything, I just laid in bed and waited for it to stop. Later after I fell back asleep there was the aftershock which woke me up again. They say we might have aftershocks for days but we haven't had another one since 11 a.m so I doubt it.

Here's an article about the earthquake

P.S. I found out there is a town in Kentucky called Knob Lick. Man if I lived there I would not be able to tell people where I live without giggling.
