So Kripke has maybe sort of redeemed himself. I'm still not happy about season 5 being the apocalypse (are they really gonna end the series with heaven on earth? Or go the other way and end it all? That seems a bit extreme) but having Sam finally get his comeuppance, that was sweet! Dean totally owes Sam the world's biggest "I told you so". I knew Ruby was playing him! I knew it! I gotta say the last moment when Dean went to stab Ruby and Sam held her for him, that rocked! I literally screamed "Yes!" out loud. Also I maybe forgave Sam ... just a teeny bit. He's still a gigantic moron who brought all this shit on himself and the whole freaking world though (good one Sammy).
In conclusion: ding dong the bitch is dead and Bobby lived so all in all it was as good as it could have been given all the shit that they have done this season.
I will definitely watch season 5 of Supernatural. I may even enjoy season 5. But ultimately it isn't the show I loved and it never will be again. This past season has done irreperable damage to my enthusiasm for this show and for my opinions of the characters. I know it can't be the show it once was, and even if it got as close as it possibly could, I still don't think I could get my love for the show back.
